Single-Use Clinical Thermometer – Disposable, Individually Wrapped
The Tempa•DOT® Single-Use Thermometer is our most popular product. It is specifically designed for high accuracy and for the prevention of cross-contamination that can expose patients to infections such as C. difficile, MRSA, MDROs, Norovirus, Rotavirus and other HAIs. These infections are easily spread through casual person-to-person and object-to-person contact. Tempa•DOT® thermometers circumvent this risk by providing a clean, hygenic instrument that is used and then discarded.

Permanent Temperature Readings:
The main difference between NexTemp® and Tempa•DOT® is read time. After the temperature fires on a Tempa•DOT® thermometer, the reading is permanent, no need to rush to check the reading. Because of this, Tempa•DOT® thermometers must be stored in a temperature controlled environment.
State of the Art Technology Offers Unsurpassed Clinical Accuracy
Tempa•DOT® offers better accuracy than other thermometers commonly used in a healthcare setting. Its performance is made possible by a remarkable innovation called Solid Crystal Technology, which uses heat-sensitive solid crystals to measure and display body temperature. Each of the dots has its own formulated temperature point that fires at a specific temperature. When a dot fires, its color changes from brown to blue. The number of dots that fire is dependent upon the patient’s temperature. The last blue dot provides the accurate temperature reading.
Disposable for Maximum Infection Control
Tempa•DOT® single-use, disposable thermometers reduce the risk of transferring infectious diseases from a medical device to a patient. By virtually eliminating the possibility of pathogen transfer via the thermometer, Tempa•DOT® thermometers significantly reduce the risk of patient-to-patient and patient-to-provider infection with C. difficile, MRSA, MDROs, Norovirus, Rotavirus and other HAIs. And, the unsurpassed clinical accuracy of Tempa•DOT® thermometers allows clinicians to confidently chart a course for a patient’s treatment.
