The MediPro home use blood pressure monitor is an upper arm monitor with automatic inflation at a push of a button. Quickly and comfortably check your blood pressure with accurate measurements that can detect Irregular Heart Beat and Hypertension (high blood pressure).
Blood pressure measurements are shown on the large LCD display of the table top unit – included is a guidance leaflet to help you understand the display, your blood pressure reading and hypertension against WHO classification.
The blood pressure cuff is adjustable and wide ranging, fitting from 22-42cm and automatically inflates when pressing the blue start/stop button once after initial power up. The monitor contains 90 sets of memory and takes an average value from three blood pressure readings.

How to take a blood pressure measurement with the MediPro home use monitor:
- Be relaxed and sat comfortably on a chair
- Have the room at a comfortable temperature
- Do not have a bath/shower, drink alcohol/caffeine, smoke, exercise or eat 30 minutes before taking you blood pressure measurement
- Remove any thick or tight-fitting clothing from your upper arm as this may restrict blood flow in your arm and give incorrect blood pressure readings
- Make sure your arm is approx. the same level as your heart
- Fasten the cuff to your upper arm with the tube side 2-3cm above the inside elbow
- Keeping the tube 2-3cm on the inside of your elbow, wrap the cuff tightly around your arm – the cuff should not slip down your arm
- Make sure your feet are flat on the ground and legs are uncrossed with your back and arm supported
- Press the blue start/stop button once to start
- The cuff will automatically inflate and your measurements will be taken and automatically saved to the monitor
- If at any point you feel discomfort during inflation – press the blue start/stop button once to immediately deflate the cuff
- Once the cuff has fully deflated, you will be able to read your results on the screen of the monitor – see the instruction leaflet supplied for guidance on how to read your results
- Hold down the blue start/stop button for 3 seconds to switch the device off
- Remove the blood pressure cuff from your arm
Note: blood pressure can differ between the right arm and the left arm. Always try to use the same arm for blood pressure measurements.
